Alanya LimmeR KC

Alanya has practised in the area of Resource Management Law since graduating some 20 years ago.  Her practice also involves those areas of law that interact with the RMA – such as public and administrative law, local government law, conservation law, mining law and reserves law. Alanya was appointed King’s Counsel in 2024.

In the course of Alanya’s career she has advised and advocated for a diverse client base, including corporates, individuals, unincorporated groups, tangata whenua, industry groups, environmental groups and local authorities.  Alanya has worked in private practice and in-house roles.  This range of experience enables her to see issues from many perspectives, which in turn enables Alanya to assist clients in anticipating what might arise and how that might best be addressed.
