Ben Shamy

Ben Shamy is a barrister who has recently begun practising on his own account after spending three years in the Public Defence Service. During that time he gained a broad experience in multiple areas of criminal law including the laws of evidence, sentencing, and bail. Ben has worked on criminal cases ranging from drink driving to conspiracy to supply methamphetamine. He has appeared in both jury and judge alone trials and has both District Court and High Court experience
